Persian Language for Adults (One-on-One)
The Iranian Community School offers one-on-one Persian language classes for adults who are interested in learning the Persian language and gaining a deeper understanding of Iranian culture. Our experienced native instructors and effective teaching methods help students develop speaking, reading, and writing skills in a supportive learning environment.
What Students Will Learn
This course introduces adult learners to Farsi through structured modules covering the essentials:
- Farsi Basics: Persian alphabet, greetings, and cultural importance.
- Reading & Comprehension: Simple texts, vocabulary, and Persian literature.
- Writing: Handwriting, sentence formation, and creative expression.
- Speaking: Conversational practice, pronunciation, and Persian idioms.
- Cultural Immersion: Exploring Iranian traditions, films, and media.
- Real-Life Application: Cultural presentations and language exchange.
Students also have access to quizzes, a final project, online learning resources, and Persian media.
Classes are held on weekdays and Saturdays in Vienna, Virginia. Instruction is available for beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels.
