Through our services, we foster an understanding and appreciation of Persian culture, language, and history. Our vibrant activities include:
● Farsi Language Classes: Interactive, immersive sessions for all ages (K-12, Adults)
● Cultural Events: Celebrations showcasing Persian traditions, music, and dance.
● Art Exhibitions: Displays featuring the works of ancient and modern Persian artists, and art workshops for students
● Literature Discussions: Exploration into the rich world of Persian literature & Poetry. Our mission is to educate, inspire, and foster an inclusive community.

● Expand our classes to accommodate more students and activities, such as music, art, fitness classes etc.

We want to leave you with a little background about us. The Persian Cultural Center Inc./Iranian Community School was founded in 1986 by Shahantaj Deyhimi. As a non-profit, non-political, educational entity, we are dedicated to nurturing the language, culture, history, literature, music, and art of Iran for the young and adult residents of the greater Washington DC Metropolitan area.
Formed under Section 501(c)3 of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, our aim has always been to create an environment that not only teaches language and celebrates Iranian culture, but also instills a sense of community and teamwork. We strive to be a sanctuary for Iranian-American students and parents, and a pillar of Iranian culture.
